Working principle :
The material is uniformly fed into the first bin of the ball mill through the feeding device via the hollow shaft screw. The bin is equipped with stepped or corrugated lining plates and contains steel balls of different specifications. The rotation of the cylinder generates centrifugal force, which brings the steel balls to a certain height and then drops them, causing heavy impact and grinding on the material. After the material reaches rough grinding in the first warehouse, it enters the second warehouse through a single-layer partition plate. The warehouse is lined with a flat lining plate and contains steel balls for further grinding of the material. The powdered material is discharged through the discharge grate to complete the grinding operation.
The main working part of the ball mill for grinding materials occurs on the horizontally low-speed rotating cylinder. When the cylinder is driven to rotate by the transmission device, the grinding body is attached to the lining plate surface on the inner wall of the mill cylinder due to the effect of inertia centrifugal force, and rotates together with it. After being brought to a certain height, it falls freely under the action of gravity. At this time, the grinding body shatters the material inside the cylinder. At the same time, in the rotating mill, the grinding body not only has a cyclic motion of rising and falling, but also slides and rolls, causing grinding between the grinding body, lining plate and the ground material, resulting in fine grinding of the material. During the impact crushing and grinding of materials, the height difference between the material surface at the feeding and discharging ends is utilized to allow the material to flow slowly from the feeding end to the discharging end, completing the grinding operation.
